A German town builds a giant wall around its shelter for refugees.

The city of Neuperlach Sud in the Munich suburb is building a 4-meter (13.1ft) barrier that will stand higher than the Berlin Wall. The purpose is to separate the town’s families from around 160 unaccompanied child refugees who are set to move into a nearby shelter currently under construction. The controversial stone wall is a compromise between angry residents and the local government after locals previously filed a complaint against the shelter.  View More
